First cohort of Harrow Works participants graduate!
Watford FC Community Sports & Education Trust were delighted to recently see their first Premier League Employability Programme Harrow Works students graduate at Vicarage Road Stadium.
Students from the programme were joined by delegates from Govia ThamesLink Railway, HM Prison The Mount, Harrow College, Herts Inclusive Theatre (HIT), Woodland Adventure Forest School Harrow along with parents and senior management from the Trust. Delegates were treated to a VIP tour of Vicarage Road followed by a presentation and lunch in the Captains Bar.
Programme tutor Tony Oliver said;
“It has been a pleasure to teach, coach and mentor these individuals along the start of their career journeys. Without the help of all the outside organisations listed we wouldn’t be able to offer the students the unique opportunities and work experiences they have undertaken so I would like to say a big thank you to those organisations.”
The programme has seen 4 of the 6 students gain employment with all registering positive outcomes and being more focused on how to move forward.
If you or someone you know is interested in getting involved in Harrow Works, please contact Tony Oliver on: 07850 503447 or email:firstname.lastname@example.org
The next cohort is due to start on Monday 4th September.
